How to Use macOS Apps

Here's how to use the MillenVPN/macOS app.

① Click MillenVPN within the application.

② Clicking will bring up a pop-up to run MillenVPN.
　Please review the contents and click [Open].

③The MillenVPN app has launched.

As stated in the [Welcome to MillenVPN] email sent upon contract activation
・Username
・Password
　Please enter the two items above and click Login.

④ Let's change the connection destination.
　Click [Server List].

⑤ Please select your desired connection destination.
　※Selecting the fastest server will automatically choose the country with the fastest connection speed.

⑥ After changing the connection destination above or clicking [Connect], the connection will begin.
　※Connection times may vary depending on the country you select.

⑦ If the following screen appears, the connection is complete.
　Once connected, the country of the connection destination and the global IP address will be displayed.

MillenVPN Configuration

Clicking the MillenVPN icon displayed in the upper-left corner of your computer screen will display various menus.

Overview
⇒You can check the current app version.

Settings
You can go to the settings screen.

Settings Item: Protocol
You can modify the protocol.

The switch to WireGuard requires the following pages to be updated.

When making changes for the first time, the configuration addition screen will appear during the change process. Click "Allow."

・WireGuard
⇒Provides extremely fast VPN service.
　This feature is unavailable on networks where UDP is not supported.

・IKEv2 (Recommended setting)
⇒ It provides high stability and security with an extremely fast protocol.
　This feature may not be available on some platforms.

・IPSec
Provides stable security through widely used protocols.
　This feature may not be available on some platforms.

Setting Item: Kill Switch
Enabling this prevents communication using your real IP address if the VPN connection is disconnected.

Setting Item: On Demand
⇒When set to ON, the VPN connection will remain active even after closing the Millen VPN app.

Settings Item: System Startup
When set to ON, the MillenVPN app will automatically log in when you log in to your Mac.

Setting: Hide at startup
⇒When set to ON, the window will be hidden when the MillenVPN app launches.

・Do not connect automatically (default setting)
　⇒The MillenVPN app will not establish a VPN connection upon launch.

・Connect to the last server you connected to
　⇒When you launch the MillenVPN app, it connects to the VPN using the last server you connected to.

・Connect to the fastest server
　⇒Upon launching the MillenVPN app, it automatically selects the server with the fastest connection and establishes a VPN connection.

・Connect to the fastest server in the selected country
　⇒Automatically selects the fastest server within the countries you choose in the settings screen and connects to the VPN.

Update server information
⇒Update server information. This feature is for when servers are not displayed.

Hide
⇒Hide the MillenVPN app window.
　You can display it again by clicking the window app icon.

Hide other windows
⇒Hide all windows except the MillenVPN app.

Show all windows
⇒ This option is enabled only when "Hide Other Windows" is selected.
　Display other windows besides the MillenVPN app.

Logout
⇒ Log out of the app.

End
⇒Exit the app.
